Actually.... SFO is in San Bruno. (minor quibble)

Traveler's Aid (with one L) functions more as an "information desk" for
lost or confused travelers. It can get in contact with hotels or
consulates as needed.

And how do *you* know about our base at Barnard....Solomani weakling
SCUM? We're coming for you - look for the black Cadillacs.

Notes:

Until the first "Aquitaine" Class Frigate enters service, the "Republique"
Class Barque is the largest military starship yet to be constructed in the
Commonwealth.
The "Republique", or Type 14 Barque is an evolutionary design based on the
600t "Eyre" Class TL-11 Barques already in service. Advances in technology
led to the design of a larger and more capable "Eyre", with an upgraded
sensor and weapons package. The first example of this class (the "Medoc
Republique") entered service with the Medoci Navy in 1197.

Like almost all Commonwealth starships, the Type 14 is capable of surface
landings. It also carries a 95 ton shuttle for landings on unknown or
potentially hostile worlds. Designed for armed exploration and
reconnaisance, the Barque carries a complement of 12 troops (Commonwealth or
local marines). Fuel scoops and an on-board purification plant give the
ship the capacity to mount long missions without support.

Five "Republique" Class Barques are currently in service:

Name ID Commissioned Owner

Medoc Republique AME-0037 141-1197 Medoc Republic

Broadsword SX-0033 087-1200 Saxe
